スポーツ優勝以上に元気づけるもの

主をほめたたえよ。主に感謝せよ、主は恵みふかく、そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない。 詩篇 106:1 今はスポーツ試合が無いので、各テレビ局がホークスの過去の優勝の動画を流したり、その他の主な出来事をニュース番組時に放送しています。試合がないからニュース内容が足りなく放送時間が余るのが理由ではないと思います。コロナで落ち込んだり不安な人が多いなか、過去のスポーツの勝利の振り返りを見ることで元気が出るからだと思います。 私たちクリスチャンはスポーツの振り返りより元気になるはるかに良い方法があります: 賛美です。神様を褒めたたえましょう。 聖書朗読 第2列王記1-3 詩篇106 Praise ye the Lord . Psalms 106:1 All the TV stations are showing clips from previous baseball championships because there aren't any games right now. Why are they doing this? Is it to kill time because there is not enough news topics and they will have empty airtime? No. It's because watching winning moments in sports cheers people up. We as Christians have a better way! Singing praise to God!

Lonely, but not alone

それで、彼は行って、主の言葉の通りにした。すなわち、彼はヨルダン川の東にあるケリテ川のほとりに行って住んだ。幾羽かの烏が、朝になると彼のところにパンと肉とをはこんで来、また、夕方になるとパンと肉とを運んで来た。彼はその川から水を飲んだ。 第一列王記17:5-6 エリアは孤独な思いをしていた時があったとしても、決してひとりぼっちではなかった。神様が彼の必要な糧を彼の所まで運んでくれた。続きを読むと川が乾いたことがわかります。しかし、どんな状況になっても、神様は道を備えてくれました。私たちは一人ではない。それを忘れずに今週の外出自粛を耐えましょう。 聖書朗読 第一列王記14-16 詩篇103 So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord : for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. 1 Kings 17:5‭-‬6 I'm sure that there were many times Elijah was lonely but he was never alone. God always provided his daily needs. If you continue to read, you'll see that the river dried up, but not to worry because God has a plan. God always has a plan and always knows what we need. We are never alone. Let's remember that as we stay at home this week.

いつもでもどこでも礼拝できる

しかし主はわたしの父ダビデに言われた、『わたしの名のために宮を建てることはあなたの心にあった。あなたの心にこの事のあったのは結構である。 列王記上 8:18 ダビデ王が神殿を建設する思いがありましたが、神様に止められました。その思いがないよりは、あるほうが神様が喜びました。神様のために何かしようとする時、神様に止められるまで前に進みましょう。 イースター集会を含め、今月の教会集会すべてが中止ですが、集会がなくても、教会に行けなくても、神様を礼拝できます。 聖書朗読 第一列王記8-10 詩篇101 And the Lord said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart. 1 Kings 8:18 KJV Is this where the phrase, "it's the thought that counts" came from? God stopped David from bulding the Temple. We should always move forward until God stops us and then, we should find a different way to move forward for Him. There is no church services this month but we can still worship Him where we are.

願いを超えた祝福

リーダーはどこにいるのか？

イスラエルの神は語られた、 イスラエルの岩はわたしに言われた、 『人を正しく治める者、 神を恐れて、治める者は、 朝の光のように、 雲のない朝に、輝きでる太陽のように、 地に若草を芽ばえさせる雨のように人に臨む』。 サムエル記下 23:3‭-‬4 ダビデ王の最後の言葉です。国のリーダーたちは神様を恐れるべきですが、今の時代は、その様なリーダーがいるのでしょうか？リーダーは正しい決断をしなければならないが、コロナでそれがいつも以上に難しい。リーダーのために祈りましょう。 聖書朗読 第2サムエル記22-24 詩篇98 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. He speaks about the fact that leaders must be just and fear God. Are there any such leaders today? The coronavirus has made it even more difficult for leaders to make good decisions. Let's pray for our leaders today.

誰の声を聴いてる？

さあ、われらは拝み、ひれ伏し、 われらの造り主、主のみ前にひざまずこう。 主はわれらの神であり、 われらはその牧の民、そのみ手の羊である。 どうか、あなたがたは、 きょう、そのみ声を聞くように。 詩篇 95:6‭-‬7 羊は決して賢い動物ではないが、自分の羊飼いの声に聞き従う事ができる。 今の社会には、メディアや友達など、多くの「声」があり、間違っている多くの情報が頭に入ってしまい、何が正しいか分からなくなります。神様のみ礼拝すれば、この声を無視できるようになり、安らかになります。 聖書朗読 第2サムエル記13-15 詩篇95 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Psalms 95:6‭-‬7 Sheep aren't the brightest of animals, but are smart enough to hear the voice of their shepherd and to follow. There are so many voices sending mixed messages today that it is hard to tune out the voices we shouldn't be listening to. When we worship God alone, it will be much easier to tune out the false voices.

偉大な神様はニュース局に勤めてません

主なる神よ、あなたは偉大です。それは、われわれがすべて耳に聞いたところによれば、あなたのような者はなく、またあなたのほかに神はないからです。第2サムエル記7:22 これは、ダビデ王が神様に選ばれ、守られ、王にされたこと、イスラエル人が選ばれた民として神様に祝福されていることに対しての感謝の祈りの一部です。神様は偉大な方であり、私たちは聖書にその記録を読むだけではなく、今の生活で経験できることです。毎日は不安なニュース、経済はどうなるかの心配のなかですが、ニュースを見る時間を減らし、神様に目を向ける時間を増やしましょう。 聖書朗読 第2サムエル記4-7 詩篇93 Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 2 Samuel 7:22 This song is a prayer of Thanksgiving by David, who was chosen by God to be king. He praises God for choosing Israel as His people and for His bountiful blessings. God is great, and not only can we read about it in the Bible but we can experience it in our own lives. Every day, the news is full of things that make us worry and we don't know how is our finances will work out. Let's decrease the amount of time we spend watching the news and focus more on God.
